I was hiding in three monasteries

I was born in Lwów. My father was a lawyer and worked as legal counsel in the State Employment Office in Lwów. I stayed in Lwów during almost the entire occupation, including the period from the winter of 1941 until the August action in the ghetto, in 1942. My parents perished in Lwów during the various actions, whereas I was taken to a family in Sambor and later to Kraków. I stayed there, together with my cousin (her present name is J. Feldblum), first with Mrs. M. Klepacka (decorated with the medal of the “Just Among the Nations of the World,” she died in 1986), and after that, in three cloisters. After the war, I finished school and then legal studies. In 1955, I married and gave birth to a child. I continue to work as an attorney.
